I'M SO INTO YOU!

So this is the latest work, it's 70x90cm, acrylic on canvas. The smaller version felt far too finicky and precious, a trait which doesn't usually find itself in my work. Will probably put this in the end of year show. the writing next to it is a futurama quote. ZOMGG IM SOO COOL!!!!11! Don't ask.

I'm doing this on friday and saturday hopefully, if you have some junk, come down and more talented artists than myself will turn yo shit into art, you dig?

Julie and Sophia off the painting course are showing some work in Dulwich, south London. You should go, it looks good.

There, that's my good deed for the day done, now to plug the SU show. It's starting on the 29th May. There will be cake, booze, and pretty pictures. okeydoke, more details in the near future.

the paints, they are a changing.

 This is the image that pretty much started it. I think it was done back in March of this year, must've been because it was for jack's birthday. Anyway, this sort of changed how I worked because A) I really enjoyed painting it and B) I didn't feel it needed any text, which is a terrible habit I have, every painting ends up with a gammy bit of writing on it because in my head I think I'm an illustration student. It's not so bad and more. so that painting evolved into the image on the right (I have no idea how to arrange pictures on this thing. it's really annoying, may have to get a flickr or photo bucket thing so I can link direct to pictures like this.

Anyway. I'm working on some paintings at the moment that have gone a bit Francis bacon on me. The photo booth app on jack's mac was my inspiration. Lazy. But effective. Pictures up soon.
