paint on face in eyes

Face on Face; Vaseline, Acrylic and Poster Paint on Self and Swimming cap

Quick test run today for a video I'm starting work on.
I've become a bit stuck recently as to what I'm doing, So I've spent the last month reading. This is probably the first piece of work that I've done where I feel comfprtable with what I'm doing and have a vague idea of what I'm doing. Hoping to make prints of the images I've taken, along with the film, and presenting them in my Performance Art elective. Probably make some drawings/paintings from the prints.

It was interesting, as for a brief moment I was a sculpture, of sorts. also a painting. Now I have photographs, of either paintings or performances. It's all a bit confusing.

What I did learn from today was to use less vaseline as an undercoat, as it made the acrylic/poster paint break up. Then had a talk with my tutor about where to go from now. Truth be told, there's a lot of different ways I can go from this project, just need to sit down and focus. And make mistakes. It is very important that I stop worrying and make mistakes with my work, otherwise I'll never get anywhere.

Fingers crossed it all goes to plan.
